Safflower is a great option for adding variety to your songbirds' and critters' diet.  It is an excellent source of phosphorus, zinc and iron.  Safflower has many of the same nutritional benefits as black oil sunflower seeds. Blue Jays, Woodpeckers, Cardinals and other critters love this seed!
 
Safflower is also an optional add-on for many custom mixes, especially for poultry feeds.
